Dear Ian
Thank you so much for our Golden Wedding Cake last Sunday. You
interpreted our request perfectly, and it caused much amusement all
round - and a lot of photos! Everyone also commented that it tasted as
good as it looked, and loved the citrus flavours. We managed to prevent
Granny and Grandpa's heads from being eaten until the following day...
We shall certainly be happy to recommend you, and please feel free to

Hi Ian
I Would like to thank you for my hedgehog wedding cake that was loved by everyone, and was all eaten once it was sliced and put out for guests to help themselves.
I have to say the cake looked better than what I had imagined, and would like to thank you for that. The cake has been talked about since the wedding as it was not what guests had imagined for a wedding cake.
So once again thank you for a wonderful wedding cake

Ian, Thank you for making the most amazing novelty Spiderman cake for my 4 year olds sons birthday last month. Attention to detail was phenomenal, beautifully presented, a work of art-life like, the sponge was soft and moist, it tasted divine. Everybody loved your cake, it was talk of it all, so great that we didn't want to cut into it. You provided a very professional, consistent and flawless service from start to end and that goes a long way. We will be sure to order cakes from you in the future and will be recommending your service to all our family/friends. Thank you for making it a memorable experience.

We were absolutely delighted with our wedding cake! We sent a picture of what we would like and the cake was made exactly as we wanted it. The chocolate tier was delicious and so moist. Lots of guests complimented us on the cake and one of the guests said it was the best chocolate cake they had ever tasted! We were impressed with the service which was very professional.

This was our family's 3rd cake from 'A Slice of Cake' and we weren't disappointed. Ian made a 'Duggee' cake for our granddaughter and it was fabulous!

A MASSIVE thank you to Ian. Fantastic Customer Service from start to finish , an easy smooth pleasant transaction and all of my questions were quickly and efficiently answered. I had a 40th Birthday cake made for my boyfriend Tottenham (Spurs, Football )themed. I had a very particular design in mind and I was absolutely delighted with the result, the cake looked and tasted fantastic. Everyone commented on how great it was and my boyfriend LOVED it!!! Had the pleasure of working with Ian for our wedding cake in September. Words can't describe enough how happy we were with not only the cake itself but the communication and service, Ian sure did deliver!!! I had my own image of cake and gave it to Ian, we arrange a consultation and talked about flavours etc including samples, and our cake on the day was beyond our expectations. We received so many compliments on both look and taste of our 4 tiered cake. Thank you Ian for our amazing cake and for all your help throughout!!! Would definitely recommend and use again myself for any future events!

Hello, Ian. I am writing to say thank you for the wonderful birthday cake. My mother was thrilled to bits and it was hugely admired by all the guests. It was so beautiful that we almost couldn't bear to cut it! As you predicted, we had more than enough cake to feed our visitors. We have removed the rose decorations and are hoping they will just dry out naturally, so they can be kept as a memento of the day. However I am wondering whether the remainder of the cake can be safely frozen? Perhaps you could let me know. Best wishes, Liz

Dear Ian You are a first! I have never posted a comment on a website before but I just have to express my delight and joy on taking delivery of the wonderful cake made for my father's 90th Birthday. The guests at our gathering of 40 or so family members gasped when they saw it and chuckled with glee at the special and very personal touches you added to the Gardening Theme Cake. Not only did it look absolutely brilliant, the sponge number 9 and the traditional fruit mixture for the number 0 was delicious and enjoyed by all. We were able to please everyone's taste. Thank you, Ian, for making us such a beautiful and delicious celebration cake. My father was over the moon.

A big THANK YOU from the happiest bride! I am a cake person, I almost didn't care about dinner the cake was most important to me, and A Slice of Cake did not disappoint! I had some strange requests.... but everything was accomplished for a much fairer price than any other bakery i looked at! Usually people skip the cake, but at my wedding, all cake was consumed and my family fought over dividing the rest because we all wanted to take some home! Thanks again, you guys are the best!!

We ordered as a family from a slice of cake for a last minute birthday cake, we phoned around on a lot of website before we come across this one, it was so very hard to find the cake that we wanted on short notice any other websites - but a slice of cake were amazing! The cake was so life like, nothing like we've brought before from the supermarket! Our grandfather was shocked and thought it was a model! We ordered a rich chocolate, football cake for a small celebration and it was gone within the hour. We would recommend to anyone! Thank you ever so much for working through the night for us! We have a big family and will certainly be again ordering again soon!

We ordered our Christening cake from a slice of cake a week prior to the Christening, we ordered the book shaped cake. It looked absolutely brilliant and it tasted even better!!! We received lots of compliments on the cake. Thank you so much!
